Small Town

Your Chakras Are Now Aligned Necklace

An unabashed convert to the Age of Aquarius Small Town leads the trend toward the mystical and esoteric with third range - I’ve Become a Desperate Believer. Handcrafted in Melbourne by local artist/designer Sarah Parkes, I’ve Become a Desperate Believer features hand-cast polyurethane in iconic symbols of the new age, complimented with hand-knotted macrame in the most spiritual of configurations - the Dream Catcher. All pieces feature silver fixings and with a simple black and cream colour palate.

Small Town’s second range, Magnificent Macrame features pieces that combine cotton cord knotted in traditional macramé craft style paired with clasps and rings, and a touch of perforated leather. Even though macramé has traditionally been considered a ‘male’ craft (according to wikipedia) all of the pieces are knotted and sewn by hand in Melbourne by the very female and elfin designer Sarah Parkes.
